Santosh + Felicia + Family

When we lived in Port Moody, we got to know Santosh and Felicia through the church we were a part of.  Since moving away, we’ve only sporadically kept in contact, so it was great to receive an email from Santosh asking me to photograph their family.  We set up a date and discussed locations.  From living in Port Moody, I already knew a few spots I thought would work.  I showed up an hour early to scout the locations.   When we we met the light was getting low, so we had to move pretty fast.  They were a breeze to photograph, and I’m happy with how they turned out.

Benjamin and Christina

Here’s another series where I was able to shoot my wife’s family on the farm.  This time it was Benni and Christina’s turn.  It sure wasn’t hard to find locations on the farm.  All we had to do was walk around the barn (and time it with the right lighting).

Nearly six years ago I was able to shoot Benni and Christina’s wedding in Germany.  What a great experience!  I dug up a few of my favourites from back then.  Enjoy!

Mak and Jennifer’s Family

While I was in Ontario I was able to photograph my wife’s family as a gift for them.  Each family set up a time and we all headed out into the farm to look for some fun photo locations.  They’ve got some great kids who enjoyed having their pictures taken.  It was great to make them feel special by having their picture taken by a “professional photographer.”
